PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police are investigating a crime spree that’s striking at the very soul of Portland.
Sgt. Pete Simpson says several food carts in northeast Portland were broken into late Thursday or early Friday. It’s the fifth pod of food carts to be hit in recent weeks, joining Tidbit, Cartlandia, Portland Mercado and 42nd Avenue Food Carts.
Detectives have yet to confirm there’s a connection between the burglaries.
