Man shot in Las Vegas street identified

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A man who was found shot to death in a Las Vegas street has been identified.

KVVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2eMOAvS) that the Clark County Coroner’s Office found that 27-year-old Devon Whitson was shot at least five times in Friday’s shooting.

Police are still searching for three male suspects, all of whom were last seen running from the scene.

Investigators say Whitson was walking with another man and a woman when they were approached by three men.

An altercation erupted.

Police say one of the three men pulled out a gun and shot Whitson. He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
