PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix teen was hospitalized after she accidentally shot herself in the foot.
Phoenix fire officials say the incident happened Saturday afternoon at a home near 55th Avenue and Clarendon.
Firefighters transported a 13-year-old girl to a pediatric trauma center in serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating the shooting and believe it was an accidental discharge.
It was not immediately known Sunday who owned the gun and if anyone would be facing charges.
