LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - For the second consecutive week, two Wyoming players have been selected the top Mountain West Conference offensive and defensive players of the week.

Cowboy quarterback Josh Allen won the offensive honors, while linebacker Logan Wilson earned the defensive honors.

The two helped Wyoming beat Utah State 52-28 last weekend.

Allen accounted for five of Wyoming’s seven touchdowns, throwing four touchdown passes and rushing for a fifth TD.

Wilson had seven tackles, including five solo, as well as an interception and fumble recovery.

Last week, Wyoming nose tackle Chase Appleby and senior tight end Jacob Hollister were named the conference defensive and offensive players of the week, respectively, after leading the Cowboys over Boise State.
