29-year-old man found shot, dead in Empire

EMPIRE, Ala. (AP) - A man found dead in Empire has been identified.

Walker County Coroner Joey Vick identified the victim as 29-year-old Justin Denny.

Vick says Denny was found Saturday in the 1200 block of Coon Creek Road in Empire. He says Denny had an obvious gunshot wound.

His body will be sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
