FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve identified the body of a man that was found in a southeastern Michigan drainage ditch.
Monroe County sheriff’s officials say the body found Saturday evening was partly submerged in Frenchtown Township near a school administration building. In a statement, they say family members identified the man as 27-year-old Steven Michael Doty of Monroe.
The sheriff’s department says foul play isn’t suspected, but the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department’s detective bureau.
