WASHINGTON (AP) - Police say a woman is dead after being stabbed in southeast Washington.

Police said in a statement that they were called to the 2600 block of Pomeroy Road SE around 3 p.m. Tuesday for a report of an unconscious female. Police say when they arrived they found 40-year-old Antina Cindette Pratt of Washington suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Police say Pratt was pronounced dead at the scene.



Police did not give any information about a possible suspect or what may have led to the stabbing.
