ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police are seeking a man suspected of firing a gun in a downtown nightclub and hitting himself twice in the leg.

Thirty-year-old Andrew Abellanosa (a-bel-an-OH-sah) was treated at a hospital after the shooting Sunday at the Playhouse Club.

Police were waiting to arrest him Tuesday when he was to be discharged.

But police say he walked out of the hospital at 10 p.m. Monday and has not been seen.

He’s wanted on three counts of felony assault and one count each of weapons misconduct and reckless endangerment.

Police are asking the public’s help in finding Abellanosa.
