BRIGHTON, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a father and son wanted in a deadly shooting at a Brighton Park are in custody.

Local news outlets report 47-year-old Jimmy Dewayne Williams and his son, 19-year-old Samarjay Leshore, were booked into the Jefferson County Jail on murder charges Monday on a $1 million bond each. They were wanted for the August shooting that killed 32-year-old Antonio Hinkle.

Hinkle was shot and killed while cooking food at Brighton Park for the city’s annual Love Thy Neighbor event.

Three other people were wounded in the shooting, including a 4-year-old child and his mother.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for the men.
