DENVER (AP) - El Paso County authorities are still searching for a man accused of lighting a woman on fire as she sat inside a vehicle next to a 14-year-old girl.

The woman and the teen both suffered burns in the incident and were reported to be in stable condition Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says Consepcion Rascon Jr. had been fighting with the woman on Sunday in the Stratmoor Hills area when he poured an accelerant on her and lit her on fire. The teen, who is a relative, was hurt as she tried to extinguish the flames.

The vehicle also caught fire.

The 37-year-old suspect is wanted on suspicion of attempted murder, arson, child abuse and domestic violence.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Rascon.
