ELKO, Nev. (AP) - Officials say fire engines had difficulty getting to the scene after a trailer caught fire in northern Nevada.

Elko County Fire Protection District Operations Chief John Pitts tells The Elko Daily Free Press (https://bit.ly/2eRAXva ) that the department’s fire engines are large and were difficult to position near the trailer.

A passer-by noticed the burning trailer on Friday evening and nearby homeowners called 911. The travel trailer was uninhabited and about 10 feet from the home.

Pitts says the fire was quickly suppressed and no one was injured. The incident is under investigation.
