SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Bexar County sheriff’s deputies are searching for two men who barged into a San Antonio-area apartment and shot and killed a man living there.
Sheriff’s spokesman James Keith says a woman knocked on the door of the apartment Sunday night and when someone inside opened it, two men hiding behind her forced their way in.
One of the men opened fired and hit the victim at least once. Then they ran to a car outside and fled. They’ve been described only as wearing bandanas.
The shooting victim was taken by helicopter to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name has not immediately been released.
