BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A 41-year-old man has been taken into custody after authorities say he beat his mother to death in Buffalo.
Police say they responded to a domestic incident just after 5 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say the man struck his 57-year-old mother several times in the head with an object. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities didn’t immediately identify the man or the victim.
Police say charges against the son are pending.
