WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) - Wichita Falls police say two men have been found shot to death at a house and no one has been arrested in the double slaying.
Police Sgt. Harold McClure says autopsy results were pending Tuesday. Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the killings.
Wichita Falls police identified the victims as 39-year-old William Samuel Rankin and 22-year-old David Wayne Phillips.
Police say Rankin lived alone at the home where the bodies were discovered Monday by one of his relatives, who lives across the street. McClure says officers were summoned after the relative saw dogs running near the residence, noticed an open door, walked in and found the victims.
