CAMP VERDE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Phoenix man sought in connection with a fatal shooting at a convenience store in Yavapai County has been taken into custody in Pinal County.

The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office says the Phoenix Police Department’s fugitive apprehension detail apprehended 27-year-old Levi Jones in San Tan Valley on Tuesday.

The Marshal’s Office says Jones was sought in the shooting early Monday morning of 31-year-old John Warren “Kyle” Silva of Camp Verde.

Sheriff’s Commander Jacquelyn says MacConnnell says Jones was at the store with a woman who was involved in an altercation with a woman who was with Silva.
