STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Two Massachusetts police officers have been placed on paid leave while police in central Pennsylvania investigate a crash involving the officers’ police-issued vehicle.

The Centre Daily Times (https://bit.ly/2dkqni6 ) reports no charges or citations have been filed while Patton Township police continue to investigate the Sept. 28 crash.

But North Andover, Massachusetts police Chief Charles Gray confirms that Sgt. Daniel Crevier and Detective Brendan Gallagher are on leave during the investigation.

A Patton police report says both were in the Andover police car that crashed just after midnight into a parked trailer. Crevier was driving.

According to the police report, Crevier left the scene and police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Chief Gray says his officers were attending a conference on accident reconstruction while in Pennsylvania.
