PALM HARBOR, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say two Tampa Bay area students sustained minor injuries when a car crashed into their school bus.

A Florida Highway Patrol report says the Pinellas County bus was carrying 16 Palm Harbor University High School students Tuesday afternoon when a car ran a stop sign and hit it. Two of the teens were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The car’s driver was cited for running a stop sign.

No other injuries were reported.
