NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The American Football Coaches Association will televise its annual awards for the first time from the Grand Ole Opry House.

The association announced the show Wednesday.

The AFCA will award its national coach of the year, the AFCA Coaches’ Trophy to the top team in the coaches’ poll and other awards voted on by member coaches on Jan. 10 at the Opry House. The show will air on CBS Sports Network the day after the national championship game.

The awards show coincides with the association’s annual convention scheduled in Nashville between Jan. 8-11.
