PLEASANT GROVE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a Pleasant Grove man who was driving an unmarked Crown Victoria with police lights.

AL.com (https://bit.ly/2e9E6Ht ) reports that police arrested 36-year-old Jonathan Cole on Tuesday on charges of impersonating a police officer.

Pleasant Grove police Lt. Danny Reid says officers spotted the car on a roadway Tuesday. Cole initially told officers he worked for a neighboring agency. When officers pressed him for details, he couldn’t provide them with answers.

Reid says Cole also had in his possession a yellow visibility vest with the word “police” on it and a book called “Forensics For Dummies.”

Cole’s bond is set at $5,000. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
