FAR HILLS, N.J. (AP) - Workers have finished replacing the Route 202 bridge ahead of schedule.

The span over the Sluice Brook between Far Hills and Bernardsville has been closed since July after heavy rain damaged a bridge abutment. The state Transportation Department decided to replace it.

It was scheduled to be finished by Thanksgiving. But crews worked seven days a week to complete the project earlier.
