MONTCLAIR, Calif. (AP) - The California Highway Patrol says one person was killed and another has been arrested following a wrong-way crash that shut down all westbound lanes on Interstate 10 east of Los Angeles.

CHP Officer Marcelo Llerena says reports started coming in about 3 a.m. Thursday of a driver heading east in westbound lanes near Pomona.

He says the crash happened a few minutes later just over the border in San Bernardino County.

Llerena had no immediate information on the person who was killed or the one who was taken into custody.

All westbound lanes were closed for several hours following the crash, backing up traffic for miles.
