LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - A Las Cruces woman accused of embezzling more than $29,000 from a realty company has been arrested for another alleged offense.

Police say 34-year-old Michelle Casas was taken into custody Thursday after being indicted of one count of embezzling more than $20,000 and 33 counts of forgery of less than $2,500.

She was also served with a warrant charging her with making an unauthorized withdrawal from her latest employer’s business account.

Police say MANS Construction alleges Casas illegally used company funds to pay for her cable television bill.

Casas was booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center where she’s being held on a $60,000 secured bond.

Police say Casas now is awaiting jury trials on four indictments.

It’s unclear if she has an attorney yet for her cases.
