ATHENS, Ala. (AP) - A northern Alabama teenager has been accused of setting fire to a home and, weeks later, burning 95 bales of hay.

Al.com (https://bit.ly/2eyrxZ7 ) reports that 18-year-old Trace Bradford, of Athens, is facing up to 30 years in prison if he is convicted of second-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief.

Limestone County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Stephen Young says Bradford last month set fire to a Lester house that the owner was turning into a hunting camp for the winter.

Court records show Bradford is also accused of lighting $4,400 worth of property on fire on Oct. 3, including 95 round bales of hay. Investigators say Bradford had hoped to steal equipment, but then burned the hay “out of spite.”

It is unclear whether Bradford has an attorney.
