LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a human skull found in a dry wash on the edge of the Angeles National Forest.

The Sheriff’s Department says a crew clearing brush for the Forest Service found the skull near Tujunga Canyon Road on Thursday.

County medical examiner investigators confirmed the skull is human.

No other bones have been found.
