PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Registrar of Contractors has suspended the licenses of a contracting business after the partial collapse of a church under construction in Queen Creek.

Seven members of a construction crew working on the Heart Cry Church were hurt when part of the structure collapsed on Oct. 3.

Two of the seven reportedly suffered serious injuries.

The workers were installing trusses at the time and authorities say they fell about 16 feet to the ground.

The Registrar of Contractors says Harte Contracting Services was the general contractor for the project and subcontracted the framing to an unlicensed entity.

The agency says that’s just one of eight alleged violations that prompted Hart’s license being pulled.

A hearing on the suspension is scheduled for Oct. 24.
