BELMONT, N.H. (AP) - Police say they’ve found a man wanted in connection with a shooting in Belmont, New Hampshire.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2dQoRFg) police have taken into custody 42-year-old Jason Cuocolo. He was found in Meredith on Friday.

Cuocolo is suspected of shooting a 33-year-old woman in the head Tuesday night at a home. She was hospitalized in critical condition.

Authorities say the shooter fled the residence in a vehicle, which was later abandoned in Meredith. Police initially searched a home and a wooded area near Pirate’s Cove in Meredith after a reported sighting Thursday night.
