DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - Rescue crews have pulled two people from a cave in eastern Iowa.

The Dubuque Fire Department says it was called for help shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. Rescue crews rushed to the Dubuque cave off of North Grandview near a dog park and Bunker Hill Golf Course and found two people inside. One person was injured and had to be carried from cave.

Fire officials say two police officers also entered the cave to help and were assisted out. Neither officer was hurt.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved or the medical condition of the person injured.
