CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Police have arrested a Casa Grande man in connection with a fatal bar shooting.

Authorities say 26-year-old Trelayne Hampton was booked into Pinal County jail Sunday and will be charged with second-degree murder.

Officers received multiple calls about a physical fight that escalated into gunfire at the bar.

They found 34-year-old Andrew Noriega with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

Noriega was transported to a hospital where he died.

Police spokesman Thomas Anderson says a 9mm handgun was recovered during the investigation.

He says witness accounts and other evidence led investigators to identify Hampton as the suspect.

Police did not give a possible motive.
