LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Authorities in Bullitt County have arrested one person and are looking for two more suspects after they allegedly posed as police officers, robbed a home and led deputies on a chase.

Media reports say 45-year-old Joseph Kean of Louisville faces charges that include attempted murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment and impersonating a peace officer.

The Bullitt County sheriff’s office says it responded to a home invasion Sunday. Residents told deputies that three people armed and dressed in bullet-resistant vests approached the home, identified themselves as officers and burglarized the home.

Authorities say they fled in a stolen pickup truck. A chase ensued when the truck and a second suspect vehicle were located. Kean was taken into custody after his vehicle crashed into a cable barrier. The second vehicle fled.
