RANKIN, Pa. (AP) - County homicide detectives have responded after a man was found shot to death near some railroad tracks behind a western Pennsylvania housing project.

Allegheny County police say a woman found the body Monday morning while walking on a trail behind the Hawkins Village housing project. That’s located in Rankin, about five miles east of Pittsburgh, along the north shore of the Monongahela River.

The name of the victim has not been immediately released.
