KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities are working to identify that was found behind a Knoxville church.
Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk tells news outlets that a male body was found Monday morning in the woods behind the parking lot of Norwood Church of Christ in the northwest part of the city.
Authorities believe the body had likely been there for several days.
DeBusk says there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body.
The body was taken to the Knox County Forensic Center.
