BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (AP) - A man has been charged with robbing a bank in Blue Springs after police say he led authorities on a high speed chase.

The Kansas City Star (https://bit.ly/2ehDPBN ) reports that 51-year-old James Hulsey allegedly robbed the Adams Dairy Bank last week. It wasn’t immediately clear if Hulsey has an attorney.

Court documents say a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper later spotted a vehicle matching a description of the suspect’s vehicle and tried to pull it over as it traveled on Interstate 70.

Authorities say the driver refused to stop and a pursuit reached speeds more than 120 mph before the vehicle got a flat tire and went off the road in Callaway County.

Hulsey was arrested after a brief foot chase.
