Police investigate Belton shooting death as a homicide

BELTON, Mo. (AP) - Police are investigating a suburban Kansas City shooting death as a homicide.

The Kansas City Star (https://bit.ly/2egEjLb ) reports that the shooting happened about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday in Belton.

Police are looking for the driver of a red car that sped away from the scene. The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released.
