TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Police in Tacoma say they are investigating the death of a 32-year-old transient man as a homicide.

The News Tribune reports (https://goo.gl/aOISl9 ) police were called Tuesday morning after the man was found on a Tacoma street.

Pierce County medical examiners identified the man as Dustin Kopp.

Examiners say he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

No further information was immediately available.
