TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Tucson say 25-year-old motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a car on Saturday night.

Police say Christopher Campbell was heading east on Pima Street when a driver in a sedan heading west made a southbound turn. Campbell struck the sedan. He was transported to a hospital, where he died. The driver of the sedan wasn’t injured.

Police said they located a helmet at the crash site but they don’t know if Campbell was wearing it.

Police said speed doesn’t appear to be a factor and that the driver of the sedan had no signs of impairment.

An investigation is ongoing.
