CLEVELAND (AP) - Authorities say an aunt of a man accused in the fatal shootings of three people at a suburban Cleveland barbershop has been arrested on an obstruction of justice charge involving attempted jury tampering.

The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County Prosecutor’s Office says Douglas Shine Jr.’s aunt, 37-year-old Lasandra Johnson, is accused of approaching a juror’s family about her nephew’s ongoing murder trial and was arrested Friday. Court records don’t list an attorney for Johnson.

Twenty-one-year-old Shine pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder and other charges in the 2015 slayings at a Warrensville Heights barbershop. Three other people were wounded.

Shine’s trial was interrupted for a day after a juror told the judge the defendant’s aunt pressured the juror’s daughter.

The judge dismissed the juror, but rejected a defense motion for a mistrial.
