BOSTON (AP) - Dogs, cats and other pets are getting a chance to join in the Halloween fun.

The fourth annual Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest will be held next weekend at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Pet owners are invited to dress themselves and their pets in costumes and walk around the marketplace. Participants will then walk the “cat walk” in front of a panel of judges.

Prizes will be awarded for the “Top 3 Best in Show,” ”Best Owner & Pet Combo,” ”Best Local Representation” and “Most Creative.”

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 29. The contest is sponsored by the Faneuil Hall Marketplace Merchants Association.

Pet owners must register in advance for the costume contest.
