ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Luka Milivojevic’s header six minutes into second-half injury time secured defending champion Olympiakos a 2-1 victory over visiting PAOK in the Greek league on Sunday.

Fernando Varela had an eventful game. He opened the scoring for PAOK in the 6th minute, when he pounced on a weak clearance by the goalkeeper, only to provide the equalizer himself in the 25th when he deflected a cross into his own net.

The game started late and was twice interrupted - including for 20 minutes after the late winner - because of smoke flares lit by Olympiakos supporters.

Olympiakos is four points ahead of second-placed AEK Athens, which drew 0-0 at home with Panionios on Saturday. PAOK is 7th.

Also Sunday, Atromitos won 2-1 at Iraklis, Levadiakos beat visiting Panetolikos 2-1 and Giannena thrashed Larissa 4-0.

Panathinaikos plays at Veria Monday.
