BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (AP) - Officials say a third person has died following a head-on wreck in Central Texas involving an SUV and a pickup truck.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says both people in the SUV were dead at the scene Friday southwest of Waco. DPS says a man driving the pickup died Saturday at a hospital in Temple.

DPS identified the SUV victims as 30-year-old driver James Corliss Jr. and 29-year-old Samantha Hall, both of Belton. Authorities say 41-year-old Michael Brenegar of McGregor was driving the pickup.

Officials are trying to determine what caused the SUV to go out of control and veer into oncoming traffic.
