DENVER (AP) - Authorities are investigating a shooting in Aurora that left a man dead.

The Denver Post reports (https://dpo.st/2ewjHyC ) that police had responded Sunday afternoon to a report of a gun assault to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound in the city’s Morris Heights neighborhood. The victim died at a hospital.

Police say all parties involved are accounted for and that there’s no risk to the community.

The victim’s identity will be released pending notification of his family.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Aurora police.
