BOSTON (AP) - The price of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has inched up a penny in the past week.

AAA Northeast reports Monday that self-serve, regular is now selling for an average of $2.14 per gallon.

That’s 8 cents below the national average for the same grade, but 7 cents per gallon higher than the Massachusetts price a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.03 and as high as $2.39 per gallon in Massachusetts.
