SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (AP) - Authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Southaven.
Southaven Police Chief Steve Pirtle tells news outlets that a man and a woman were found shot to death inside a home Sunday evening after the department received calls about gunshots.
Pirtle declined to immediately release the names of the deceased, but said their deaths appeared to be the result of a domestic murder-suicide.
He says that others were at the home at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured and no one else is believed to have been involved.
