PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Providence woman is facing a driving under the influence charge after police say her SUV flipped over onto the Statehouse lawn.

Police say 42-year-old Gloria Komrowski faces several charged in connection with the Saturday afternoon crash. It wasn’t immediately known if she has an attorney.

Police say Komrowski’s Ford Explorer had hit another vehicle on I-95 North. They say the struck vehicle then followed Komrowski until she crashed again at the Statehouse. She was the only one at the scene when police arrived.

State police say Komrowski was also involved in an earlier incident in which she sideswiped another vehicle on U.S. Route 6. No injuries were reported.
