LOS ANGELES (AP) - Tropical moisture streaming across Southern California has brought showers, lightning and some downpours to the region.

Scattered power outages affecting several thousand customers are reported Monday morning, mostly in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

The National Weather Service says the showers and thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon as a weak low-pressure trough moves through.
