Teen driver hits, kills 8-year-old boy who ran into street

PALM BAY, Fla. (AP) - An 8-year-old central Florida boy has died after being hit by a car driven by a 16-year-old.

Palm Bay Police say the teen was driving in the car with his mother Saturday night when Wyatt Taylor ran into the road. The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Orlando Sentinel (https://tinyurl.com/zlpnbur) report authorities did not identify the teen driver and said it’s unlikely charges will be filed.
