DETROIT (AP) - A 49-year-old man faces a terrorism-related charge after threats to police and Chief James Craig were spray painted on a Detroit building.

The Wayne County prosecutor’s office says Stuart Lewis of Detroit is expected to be arraigned Monday in 36th District Court on a threat of terrorism charge which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison upon conviction.

The threats were painted last week on the west side commercial building.

Lewis also is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and malicious destruction of a building.

Earlier this month, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette and Craig announced charges against a 40-year-old man in connection with Facebook posts made in July that encouraged the killing of white officers following the fatal shooting of five officers in Dallas.
