ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in the Government Hill neighborhood.
Dispatchers just before 11 p.m. Monday took calls of shots fired near Elm Street and east Bluff Drive.
Responding officers found a man shot outside a home on Elm Street.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Police say the man was not positively identified and no suspect is in custody.
They’re asking for anyone with information to contact them.
