Apparently, when you gotta go, you gotta go, even if you’re on the sidelines of a nationally televised game in front of tens of thousands of fans — most of whom have smartphones with cameras.

Still you can’t help but wonder if Ben Kotwica wishes he’d held out long enough to find a restroom.

Instead, the Washington Redskins special teams coordinator is all over social media Tuesday after one of those smartphone-wielding fans captured a shot of the coach indiscreetly relieving himself Sunday on the sidelines at Ford Field during the Redskins’ 17-20 loss to the Lions.

According to a Deadspin report, the woman who snapped the shot complained that she was at the game with her two small children.

The Redskins said the team would have no comment on the incident.
