ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a woman will be charged with attempted murder after she shot her husband during an argument while he was driving.

Their 5-year-old daughter was also in the pickup truck.

Anderson County sheriff’s deputies said in a statement that the husband lost control of the truck after he was wounded and it flipped and struck some trees around 9 p.m. Friday near Iva.

Authorities say 42-year-old Kerry Gosnell, her husband and their child were all taken to the hospital. All are expected to recover.

Deputies say Gosnell will be charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and illegal conduct toward a child when she is released from the hospital.

The names of Gosnell’s husband and daughter were not released.
