BAYOU BLUE, La. (AP) - Terrebonne Parish sheriff’s deputies say a 17-year-old boy died and two women suffered injuries in a shooting in Bayou Blue.

Maj. Malcolm Wolfe said in a news release David Trahan Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday night. The two women were airlifted to a hospital out of the area.

Wolfe said an arrest warrant has been issued for 34-year-old Rhubin Scott Jr. on one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. He is an ex-boyfriend of one of the female victims.

Wolfe says deputies the shooting took place at the home of the second woman, a family member of Scott’s ex-girlfriend.

Wolfe said Scott had gone to his ex-girlfriend’s workplace, caused a disturbance and was asked to leave. He then followed her to her family member’s home.
